RunAlive Intervals - James Riley
Listen now
Description
How kind are you to yourself? Do you talk to yourself the way you'd talk to a friend or are you overly hard on yourself? For this RunAlive Interval, we welcome James Riley back to the podcast - our first repeat guest. James first joined us in Series 1 Episode 5, and talked about his transition from corporate accountancy to running his own running coaching business. We welcome him back for a quick catch up on how things have gone in year 1. We talk about how he's had to learn not to take things personally, struggling with work-life boundaries in a different way to how he had before, and suffering with anxiety and pressure amplified by some perfectionist tendencies. This is a year in which he's learnt a lot about himself personally, and has had to learn how to be kinder to himself, and better to himself as a boss.
