“I'm so disappointed in this episode. Both my husband and I were excited for this podcast to roll out and were looking forward to the content. ... We almost couldn't make it through the entire episode due to the snarky, backhanded comments of the hosts. The historical content was lost amongst the rude commentary. It is unfortunate, because this is valid history that SHOULD be more available, and much more talked about... but instead of feeling more educated, I wound up ending the podcast defensive and annoyed. For me, the backhanded comments they make throughout the podcast discredited any of the historic content. (As a side note: I would have loved to hear more from the historian they interviewed!
