“I honestly think something like this is completely overdue. Granted, some of the views expressed might not be to your taste, or constitute 'moaning', or whatever else. But what overrides all of that is that this reminds us all that teachers are just human beings, like the rest of us, and for many of them the job no longer even slightly resembles what it was like when they first set out in teaching. Just because they chose the profession, it doesn't mean that anything they have to deal with is less difficult or that they can't be allowed to vent. Mehreen is a brilliant host who guides the conversation skilfully - rather her than me with a group of agitated teachers, overexcited because someone is actually showing an interest in their day to day for once!
