Sad
I’m sad that the story has so much potential, and yet gets in its own way. I just want less filler because it seems to mess with the fabric. I honestly like the story but something is wrong. I liked the first Story but I also had a similar problem! I’m near the end of the first chapter and need...Read full review »

If you like Harry Potter you'll all the J.A.Areces novels. I started with the second book and had to find the others. Loved it.

I actually listened to the last book in the series and liked it so much that I went and looked up the other books. They're all very captivating and a great listen on my rides to and from work. Well done. :-)

The story line isn't bad, it really isn't. The reading isn't great but I've heard worse and made it through the entire story. You really need to get an editor tho. If I hear you say the entire name "Alavan's Wizards and Witches Corner Store" one more time I'm going to have a complete fit. It's...Read full review »

Sweet Lord above, this MIGHT be a good story if the author wasn't reading!!! The reading is stilted, it has no passion, and his pronunciation makes it sound as if english is his second or third or fourth language. Perhaps contracting with someone else to read, as well as a bit of editing and...Read full review »

I could only make it to episode 3 before I had to stop... All the names were too similar to the names in Harry Potter and the author should of had someone else read this story because his voice was boring.

I am an avid fantasy reader, and love to listen to Podcasts in the car. This Podcast was extremely well made, J.A. Areces' recording was wonderful and the story was enthralling. Towards the last few chapters he forgot to insert a couple music clips, but they are hardly noticable. I would...Read full review »

Just finished reading this and just love this author. Storyline is great, and the author's reading is excellant. Not sure how he can make so many voices, but the voices are believable and great. Have downloaded his other 2 books as I don't want to miss anything he writes. :)) Kudos to Mr. Areces.

I am caught up with the author and I am awaiting the rest of the story. Great job Hope there is more of these characters and...Read full review »
