“I want to thank the secret to victory. I am a soccer goalkeeper recently I finally got on to the varsity team. It was a rough ride to get there and it was my last year, and I wanted to make it count. I couldn't do that. After the first game that we won in penalties I was the player of the game and everyone started calling me stones. That was the only game we won that season. The bad part is that everyone blamed me for the bad season. And I mean everyone, the whole school. It really depressed me, I was having second thoughts on continuing into soccer. Then I heard this podcast, and I found out that I'm not the only athlete that has failed and it had a devastating impact on them as a player. And these weren't just little league athletes.
