Start listening and you won't stop!
This is such a great series. I've discovered it fairly late in the day but am totally hooked. Starting from a simple premise: talking to his guests about the entertainment that informed and shaped them as gay men, Matt Baume elicits fascinating interviews from a wide variety of people on childhood, family, relationships, coming out etc. Matt's interview style is really relaxed; he's a great listener so it's more like listening in to a conversation between friends, and by inserting relevant clips of the entertainment they discuss into the discussion, Matt makes you feel involved in the discussion. This is a great history of gay culture/representation but as a straight woman from the UK I found a lot of the guests experiences chimed with things in my own life. I've come to the podcast fairly late in the day but now I'm thoroughly hooked!Read full review »

I’ve only listened to the first two so far. If these are any indication of things to come, I’m hooked. It’s nice to hear a gay-themed podcast that is so positive. Not once did the words “I hate” get mentioned (as in, “I hated that movie.”). Keep up the good work!
