So good!
Binge listened to this on a hungover nursing myself back to life Sunday afternoon. Could. Not. Get. Enough. I’m currently single (the longest while i have been in my 20s) and I am constantly back and forth between being content in this and longing for someone(or people). I find myself looking around and feeling like every friend i have, human i come into contact with seems to be partnered and in love and in a perfect relationship. This slips me into a romantic oblivion where I forget about the work and the compromises that go into being in one. The Shadows beautifully captures this work and the nuanced moments in the life cycle of a relationship. It’s rare a podcast feels so tender and intimate and real and relatable and less alone in the way this show does and I’m happy I spent my entire Sunday soaking this up.

Kaitlin Prest and her band of creatives do off-kilterness and radical honesty and really hardcore devotion to craft at the same time so well. I think the start is maybe a teensy bit slow, so give it a few minutes and let it envelop you. :)
