If there is ever a movie or series on the rogues lives, id really like to see Ray Romano be cast as Bob. Anyone else got casting ideas for the Skeptics Guide?

Hey, devout SGU listener. Here in SF we take driverless cars all the time. They are everywhere. Great deal but sometimes they take a weird route. For example they could go straight up 7th ave to get you to your destination but they do a couple of unnecessary turns and circle a block. You get...Read full review »

Very informative and interesting. I have never missed listening to a single episode for the past 8 years. Thank you for promoting critical and scientific thinking .

I’ve listened to SGU every week for over 15 years. I dont always agree with the hosts, but I always learn something. They are the way I choose to stay aware of science news in this busy life without enough free time.

Skeptics Guide is THE best science podcast out there. I recommend everyone I know should check it out to learn how to think and protect yourself from scams and pseudoscience. 👍

I can’t say enough good things about this podcast. As an ex-science teacher, the topics they cover and the way they cover them brings me joy. Everyone on the show is brilliant in their own way. Steve though…dude knows so much! Should be required listening for all late teens / young adults so...Read full review »

The SGU has been a fixture in my feed since I first started listening to podcasts. Their depths of knowledge, insight, and humor shine through to create not only an informative listen, but an enjoyable one, as well.

This is the first podcast I’ve ever listened to on a regular basis. It never feels like I’m listening to a performance, which makes for an honest experience. I found out about the podcast after listening to The Skeptics’ Guide to the Universe audiobook, and I’ve been slightly obsessed with...Read full review »

I used to love this podcast. Ever since they got their new host Kara Santa Morina (however you spell all that) it’s become an anti-Trump liberal California podcast. Can’t we just talk science and not politics? She’s not really the host but she might as well be. Steve barely gets a word in and she...Read full review »

What used to be an escape after a long day at work, listening to people talk about politics, is now just a continuation of it. They have jumped in to the ratings wheel and, no better than Fox News or CNN, they are dragging in emotional topics and being an echo chamber for listeners because...Read full review »

This podcast was recommended to me around 2013. It gave me a consistent group of voices that resonated with my values at a time that thinking critically and taking an evidence based approach to information made me an outcast growing up in Utah. Thanks rogues!

Hi! Chemistry educator here. I listen to this show for fun science pieces and skeptical pointers. However, after so many weeks of listening to these guys calling the education system “lack luster” and often attributing it to poor science teachers, I’m over it. I have learned a lot from this podcast. They discus current science news, identifying fallacies, and demonstrate critical thinking. The rogues are funny and the kind of people you’d want to share a meal with. It’s a great podcast if you’re interested in science and pseudoscience.

The topics are very intriguing every episode. The insights are inquisitive and really make you skeptical of information out there, but the more I’ve listened to this podcast the more I’ve realized there are left leaning ideals behind many topics. Not skeptic ideals, and I really struggle with...Read full review »

I really enjoy this podcast. For being skeptics it’s kind of surprising how often leftist politics are pushed especially through Cara. She tends to state “facts” from one side which doesn’t necessarily seem too skeptical to me. I would like to think real skepticism would question all sides and...Read full review »

Have been enjoying the SGU for years, and continue to catch up on old episodes. Despite the older science, I enjoy the group far more prior to Cara. Though she’s clearly quite intelligent, she also clearly shows bias on studies she likes and reviews (e.g. current episode 934) and finds them...Read full review »

Whereas I find this podcast to be mostly worthwhile, I find the sneering self righteousness tiresome. Some podcasts are better than others. I find that if the self righteousness is too overpowering I just turn it off and await the next podcast.

I first listened to one of their episodes in 2005 or 2006. I recommend the SGU to anybody because the subject matter is interesting and relevant and because the comradely and bantering among the members of the cast is fun and humorous. I’m not a scientist. I’m a science enthusiast, yet I’ve had...Read full review »

This once-iconic show is now tired and dull. I can’t be bothered with pointless opening banter, definitions of useless obscure words, long-winded science news, or random noises. “Science or Fiction” is the only saving grace.
