“The reviews stating how they love ep.1 are obviously from friends or insiders. The first episode has zero content. Pat just talks about what he will talk about and how there won't be any 'fluff' like other podcasts. Then he starts episode 2 by talking for several minutes about how he will have different music playing for each episode and how 'unique' that is. Uh, tons of podcasts do that. Plus, who cares? He does get to an interview, but it is pretty superficial and very high level. Not much to help those in the trenches.
The podcast does show some potential. The quality and delivery are good, especially since Pat states it's all one take. Plus, he's only had one ep (since ep1 doesn't really count), so hopefully it will only get better.
