This podcast is great! It has everything you’re looking for: funny jokes, information about music and why bad songs get made, dogs singing death metal, weird songs from the 70s that you never knew existed, rants about truckers, and LL Cool J. Literally what more could anyone ask for?

I am happy to have stumbled upon this show. It’s constantly funny, has a real great production quality to it, and a terrific library of work. It’s one of those shows that could go on forever, like a MST3K for pop music. Props, keep up the good work

Imagine an underground SNL crew, Fresh, hilarious, and witty banter. These guys have me laughing on the train and it’s fun to get a good laugh in after a long day, so refreshing.

The crew is doing our global society a world of good, and these brave souls ought to be commended for their work and the show, The Songtopsy Report, commemorated and logged into the Library of Congress.

The gents of The Songtopsy Report introduced themselves to my fiancée and I via their December 2017 skewering of my favorite fundamentally-awful holiday record: Linda Bennett's "An Old Fashioned Christmas (Daddy's Home)" (a good place to start if you read this by the 25th)....Read full review »

Great easy back and forth energy as they riff on songs and actually on occasion tell you something you didn’t know. I felt like I was in on the joke the whole time and had a blast. Thanks guys

The hosts are able to pepper in genuinely interesting facts about each bad song while they simultaneously mock them mercilessly. Can’t wait to hear what else they dredge up

This has become one of my favorite podcasts- Nick, Mike, and Steven have found the sweet spot in providing a frequently-hilarious analysis on some truly awful music while simultaneously presenting some genuinely interesting tidbits of research on it (who knew Bon Jovi’s first song ever was a...Read full review »

Really fun to listen to. I enjoyed the deep dive into Ted Nugent's background. So much I didn't need to know about the man, yet I couldn't turn my ears away. Looking forward to what other musical garbage they rifle through 👍🏻Read full review »

Nick and Mike, unlike damned liar scientists, truly understand the miracles behind what makes a song so bad its good. By the end of each episode they collectively feel like your best friend. You'll laugh so hard you'll need to check into a crazytown. I'm done now.Read full review »

If you have ears to hear you simply must attune them to this most excellent casting of pod.
