from a once happy, loyal and satiated listener.
My goodness, this used to be my absolute favorite food podcast. However, in the past two years this show has gone so negative always harping on the economy in every possible manner.Doom and gloom and more doom and gloom! Enough already. Of course our economy is sour but I am here to remind you the election is over. Please, those who loved your show loved it because for one hour it took us upward and left us eager each and every time. Now I feel down and depressed when your show ends. When Lynne asked the question, "do artisan cheese-makers need to charge so much money," that was the end for me. To the writers of Splendid Table, please know, 'hope springs eternal!' Please stop grinding the subject of stretching ones dollar (lol, if they even have one!!) straight into the ground. I implore you, retake the SPLENDID back to the "Splendid Table."Read full review »

More reviews of The Splendid Table
I personally am the son of the producer of the Splendid Table and have the honor of eating with Lynne every Thanksgiving. (Right after they finish the Thanksgiving brodcast.) Every foodie out there has to listen to this podcast. Show some support for Lyyne.Read full review »

Great pod cast for Foodies. Like the travel segment with the restaurant reviews.

I love slipping away to the Splendid Table to learn more about food and the people that grow / cook / love it. No matter where your neighborhood grocer is or what your cooking skill level is, there is much inspiration to be found here.
