Welcome to Day Two of our 30-day meditation practice. This is a five-minute sound healing meditation that incorporates humming and breathing. Find a quiet and comfortable place to sit where you won't be disturbed for five minutes. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, inhaling deeply through your nose and exhaling slowly through your mouth. Allow your body to relax with each breath. As you continue to breathe, notice the sensation of the air moving in and out of your body. Take a few more deep soft breaths, allowing yourself to become more relaxed with each exhale. Now begin to hum softly, allowing the sound to come from deep within your body. Let the vibration of the sound fill your entire being, starting from your belly and radiating upwards heart, throat face and outwards. Focus on the sensation of the sound as it moves throughout your body. As you continue to hum, connect the sound to your breath. Inhale deeply through your nose, and as you exhale, allow the hum to flow out effortlessly. Repeat this process, inhaling deeply and exhaling with the hum. If your mind begins to wander, gently bring your attention back to the sensation of the sound and the connection between the hum and your breath. Continue to hum and breathe for the next two minutes, allowing yourself to sink deeper and deeper into a state of relaxation and inner peace. As the five-minute mark approaches, slowly bring your awareness back to your body and surroundings. Take a few deep soft breaths and open your eyes when ready. Remember, this is your time to connect with yourself and allow the healing power of sound to nourish your body, heart, and spirit. Trust that the vibration of the humming sound will help release any tension or stagnant energy stored within you, leaving you feeling more relaxed, centred, and at peace. Through this guided meditation practice, I want to demonstrate the power of using your voice as a sound healing instrument. By exploring this practice, you will discover how your voice can be a powerful tool for self-healing and support.
