“I wanted to enjoy this podcast and I appreciate the topics they choose. Unfortunately they tend to oversimplify and approach complex political conversations with such an extreme left/liberal bias that they don’t really entertain the opposing view whatsoever. Gustavo seems to have made his mind up about everything before the interviews begin, and he comes across as quite arrogant as a result. I would love to hear more real data and relevant modern insight rather than quippy banter about how ignorant Californians have been in the past. For what it’s worth, I’m a Democrat, but this perspective feels closed-minded and less journalistic than I’d expect from The Times.”
