Disappointing for the L.A. Times
I was initially SO thrilled to have an L.A. Times take on daily news, but after a few weeks I've officially unsubscribed. The overpowering musical intros/transitions, poor sound quality/lack of editing, and as some others have noted - the tone is all over the place, editorialized and borderline flippant in certain episodes. More like Gustavo Arellano's take on current events - which is fine, just advertise the podcast as such. As a fan of other L.A. Times podcasts (Dirty John, Trials of Frank Carson, etc.) the quality is just not up to par with this one and it's a disappointing daily news show. Hope they get their footing and learn from their competition at The Daily, Up First, Greater L.A., The L.A. Report, and other news podcasts doing it better.Read full review »

Living in New England now, I still order See’s Candy for myself every year. My mom worked at See’s when I was kid so I can’t remember ever not eating it! And have started gifting it to folks who’ve never heard of it too! Loved hearing you go through the flavors too!
