“Very disappointing. The appellation of ‘The Tolkien Professor’ comes with expectations of scholarship and insight. Instead, it’s just solipsistic (and, frankly, deluded) burblings about making a movie of The Silmarillion.
It's very Middle American in outlook rather than Middle Earth. Can't help but think that the great man would be baffled by this podcast. If it ups its game and focuses the books, I have no doubt it will improve enormously.”Read full review »
