Podcasts are ten a penny these days, especially from ex tv hacks. If you want to hear a couple of guys ramble on about football you can listen to them…or listen to your mates. Same thing. But if you want to hear the podcast for the latest real info, listen to the Transfer Window. It really is the...Read full review »

In many ways I think the headline of this podcast does it an injustice. Both Duncan and Ian often unpack the wider issues on not just transfers, but how the world of football is impacted by those who hold power across the globe. A great listen with some outstanding guest spots. Dan

For those of us based outside the UK and European football markets, the Transfer Window podcast provides a compelling insight into the player deals and moves. With their insider contacts and early breaking stories, the hosts provide listeners with riveting hour of listening. I recommend the...Read full review »

This podcast has been in my listening rotation for a few years now. Duncan has to be one of the best sourced football journalists out there and is not afraid to report what he has uncovered. Always a very enjoyable listen.

Best football pod in the business - accurate transfer detail but far more than that, plenty of concise tactical acumen and detailed info on the mechanics of the transfer system. Also occasional and always high calibre guests

I absolutely cannot get thru one of Ian’s sentences. Does this guy literally try to drag out sentences as long as possible to lengthen the pod? It’s a battle of attrition to even listen to this guy speak.

Basically imagine you and a friend in a bar, you have been a bar all day drinking and you discuss football. None of it would make sense and it would be drivel. This is the premise for this podcast, utter drivel

Some decent content and information if you can face listening to these two arrogant presenters. Jokes between them are often forced and they don’t seem to actually like anyone they speak about, with an underlying undertone that they are in some way superior.

Ian for the most part doesn’t know what he’s talking about. If you’re going to discuss transfers, it is imperative you understand the rules regarding contracts. League rules and national laws matter, at least in the real world.

When it comes to transfers, they provide reliable insights that tends to be said here first. But to listen to the podcast can be a pain in the ears with the bad jokes, hero & villain meme & the clear agenda against Solskjær & Man United.

However, podcast would be more concise (and better for it) if we didn’t have to suffer McGarry constantly saying the news β€˜before it becomes news’ when they usually isn’t, and McGarry’s lame and crowbarred jokes. Sift through that and there’s the odd nugget.

Enjoyed this podcast until I realised that it is repeatedly just an agenda against one manager. Insights were fine until it becomes obvious that more and more time is being given to finding ever more ways to pull apart Solskjaer. Please go back to talking about transfers. Unsubscribed for now.
