Episode 3 podcast buries the lead
Episode 3 podcast goes off in a major tangent and discusses the important topic of global warming’s impact on Alaska. For 12 minutes, it forgets about plot, character development and one of the single most goosepimply moments in television when Lund, heavily sedated, sits up and speaks to Evangeline. WHY, why, WHY gloss over and past this incredible moment? WTAF?

As an Alaskan I appreciate the efforts made to show my home in its many truths. I’m looking forward to an incredible series. I greatly enjoyed the pacing of the host, she brought me into the present moment with her beautiful voice.

If you’re looking for insight into the plot, don’t listen to this podcast. The show already effectively illustrates the issues facing the indigenous peoples of Alaska. The podcast essentially ignores needed plot explanation and becomes an anthropological lecture.
