“Very informative podcast, but I haven’t heard any mention of the unlikelihood of women to choose shooting themselves in order to end their life. Generally, women will want to leave their corpse as undamaged as possible, choosing less violent means like pills, even cutting their wrists in the bathtub. Also, as mentioned several times, how could she have shot herself when her dominant hand was under herself?
The friend of David Simmons only lies when he’s talking, and my God, can he talk. He seemed half drunk during the interview, and his repetitive use of “Sir” and “Mate” was so annoying. How the interviewer managed to not turn off the mic and end the interview before he did speaks volumes towards his professionalism. He deserved a medal.
It’s a shame this case has been left like this, it was clearly a murder. The cops are negligent in this, but it’s not surprising. Violence against women, particularly domestic violence, is just something to sweep under the rug. The mistake is assuming it did t happen, and often, just because the woman refuses to report it. It’s always worse for her when she does.”
