“Jean seems competent and lovely and has a beautiful voice. But she had impossible shoes to fill because Ric’s show was so great. I don’t know what Soledad’s job or role is other than to ask other people questions since she doesn’t appear to be a subject expert. The show now comes across as one long advertisement for EFE. Ric’s new podcast is even worse though so I’ll give this one a few more tries.”

“I really want to love this podcast because I love HerMoney, and there is good information, but every episode is basically “You need a financial planner” and then someone from Edelman comes on and talks about their services. It’s one big ad, episode after episode.”

“Ric (or “Rice”) hammers home the same basic, sound principles weekly but makes each show interesting. Start saving early, contribute regularly and take responsible risks like buying stocks and getting a mortgage. Of course there’s a bit of a pitch, but I think he really cares. Great listen.”
