“Bill made several false claims in the MacArthur episode, including accusing MacArthur of child rape, a felony. In fact, MacArthur's sexual relationship with 16 year-old "Dimples" Cooper was morally objectionable, the age of consent in Wash DC in 1930 was 16, ergo Bill's claim is inaccurate. When Youtube viewers pointed this out, his reaction was to emotionally delete those comments, accusing those who corrected him as to the HISTORICAL FACTS of "defending the sexual exploitation of children", which is abject nonsense.
Bill also misused a psychiatric term for a paraphilia, a sexual deviance, and then deleted those who corrected him on that as well.
Woke "historians" who misstate facts based on their emotions are a plague these days, they have destroyed academia and this cancer has clearly invaded even the military museum arena as well.
When historians lie (openly!) and justify their lies based on their mere emotions, then they are not historians. They are just dishonest revisionists, mere political commentators.
