He approaches every subject, every issue, every question, every problem, every person with the same degree of a breezy honesty and the combination of gentleness ( on probing) and force ( in helping to cut the crap.
I love his accent!
True to his roots with no pretensions —- totally
uninfluenced by the fashionable leaning towards either a Dublin 4 snooty snort or a mid Atlantic inflexion. That, together with a lovely respectful attitude towards his interviewees which never, ever slides into deference is a strong inducement to listen in to his programme.
Wey- hey Brendan! What an informative and refreshing listening experience…. Wait for me… I’ll be the one tuning in on Saturday and Sunday mornings .
