Ahhh!!!!! Nice!!!!
I've been binging this podcast for the past few weeks and I'm a little over halfway through, and I LOVE it. The episodes are the perfect length, being short enough to be manageable if you listen to a lot of podcasts (like I do) and long enough to get all the need-to-know information out there. I wasn't sure if I'd be into a one-person podcast but I was foolish and naïve then, because this is by far one of the most entertaining podcasts I've listened to in my time of listening to strangers talk about stuff on the Internet. Great subjects explained by a great host who is intelligent and fun! As someone who wants to learn more about history (especially non-western/American history) but is unsure about where to start, this podcast provides great jumping off points to look further into different time periods. I cannot recommend this podcast enough!!!! Ahhh!!!!Read full review »

Interesting Times does just about everything right for a historical / cultural podcast. Well-researched and fascinating stories are presented in a compelling, concise format. Keep up the good work, Joe.

Writing this review to counteract any hate this show may have received for the confederate statue episode.

You never know where this show will go next, but it’s always fascinating! The mini series on Italian facism, North Korea, and the No Nothings have been particularly interesting. I look forward to the rest of the War of 1812 episodes.
