“I just need to say though, it does annoy the funk out of me that you continually feel the need to mention that any money goes right back into the show, because like, you’re providing us with a service, and it’s valuable, and you deserve to be compensated for your time and effort. You mentioning that makes me feel like people have somehow made you feel like that isn’t the case. It’s reminds me of people who complain about freaking ads, and podcasters will actually apologize about the ads and meekly justify it, when, dude, F the audacious, entitled, selfish people who begrudge an artist any compensation. The LEAST you can do is listen to an ad, which btw, I’m pretty sure I’ve never heard an ad on your show, and you should do that.
Anyway, I appreciate your efforts, and I’m going to sign up for your patreon ASAP. Also, I did want to mention, I loved the episode with your wife reading. I don’t remember which one, but she has a really nice voice and she’s great at narration. You should totally talk her into contributing more if she actually had fun with that and wants to. You guys could even do stuff with both of you!”
