These guys are insightful, thoughtful, interesting and not afraid to disagree with each other. Jim asks the dumb questions that we lay people all want to.

Silly guy made the mistake of bringing his home computer to work? Laughing about how they got off? Reduced sentences? Should never have been charged? Are you ducking kidding? Disgusting.

The problem with the Arab-Israeli conflict is, not least, that everyone who engages in debate on the subject takes sides. Checkpoints are the result of suicide bombing; suicide bombing is the result of land misappropriated from Palestinians, which is an attempt to create ‘facts on the ground,’....Read full review »

There aren’t any shows quite like this that explain and break down issues the justice system in such a relatable way. It’s really eye-opening for lay-person to see how it really doesn’t work the way we expect it to. We rely on the justice system to uphold the values of our society but we’re often...Read full review »

I don’t know how Felicity Graham could possibly state in court that Joshua Lehiums committed opportunistic crimes because he was “disinhibited” by the alcohol he drank because of a traumatic childhood. There are no words. I’m sickened and cannot listen to this podcast anymore. How do you actually...Read full review »

Really enjoy this pod and am impressed by the panel members knowledge and preparation for their discussions. Would love to hear the Wigs discuss more ethical issues like keeping accuseds names out of the media and the like and how the existing law deals or does not deal with this.

Last three episodes in particular (Andrew Boe, Robertson QC and the Don Harwin affair) have been so incredibly interesting for different reasons. Can highly recommend this to law students and anyone with even a passing interest in the law.

I am enjoying the discussion from an articulate and knowledgeable group of barristers about contemporary issues in our legal system. They give lots of examples from their court experience about how our legal system does not promote justice. The discussion on legal aid is particularly interesting...Read full review »

Thank you this amazing and informative discussion on controversial legal issues. As a legal studies teacher, it is somewhat difficult to keep abreast of legal outcomes. In addition, the media plays a major role in presenting their views, which have their own biases. This podcast clearly...Read full review »

Excellent podcast, my only 2 suggestions would be to make shorter but more frequent episodes if possible. Also more discussion between the hosts. Really engaging, unique content that no one else is doing. Well done.

Fantastic podcast, touching on some really interesting cases and legislation. I really want more. You could have even devoted the podcast to only one or maybe two of the cases. I’d love to hear some more of your opinions after you’ve discussed the elements of the cases from an objective standpoint.
