Too chatty and info questionable
I have only listened to the show about laundry. You have to listen to a group of giggling women for quite a while to glean the actual information being presented. If the chatter was comic or entertaining in any way it would not be as annoying. In this particular show there were two bits of advice that stood out. The first was to use white wine instead of seltzer to get out red wine stains. The person doesn’t claim seltzer doesn’t work. Given the price difference I’ll stick with seltzer which has always worked for me. Then she recommends something called Restoration over Oxyclean. I’ve turned many a yellowed cotton cloth (magically) to white using Oxyclean. A good soak in it has never failed to get out organic stains. Oxyclean is under 12 dollars for 5 lbs and Restoration is over 30 dollars for the same size package. Since I only listened to one episode, it may be that others are more useful, but this was not a good start. The only other info concerned which Tide to buy for what purpose and to try the detergent as a pre soak rather than buying a separate one.
