“I feel like I've learned more listening to these podcasts than I did from taking an actual screenwriting class. The insight and advice these writers offer on the craft and the industry is invaluable. It doesn't hurt that the majority of these writers are from shows I absolutely love, the only exceptions being a few people from shows I haven't watched yet. Like most of the commentors I'm an aspiring writer. I've always felt like I was best at coming up with great premises and compelling characters, but when it came to actually fleshing out a script I get stuck on the first page. This podcast has really helped me overcome that.
I also have to praise Ben Blacker for being a great moderator. He's very efficient, he asks good questions then gets out of the way and lets them talk at length. I look forward to future episodes. If anybody involved in the show is reading this it would be awesome if you featured some writers from animated shows, or maybe do a whole show with just animation writers. Archer, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Boondocks, Phineas and Ferb, legends like Bruce Timm, and Paul Dini, Mike Judge, etc. Just throwing that idea out there.”Read full review »

He even asked if there was more. You'll learn so much about the TV writing industry...”Read full review »
