Superb
This is such a superb podcast, Julia. Hearing your daughters, Emily and Sophie's views is an added bonus. Your conversations together at the end of each interview are always so stimulating and heartwarming. I was especially taken by the sharing and advice you gave to a recent guest about having helpful and honest conversations around living and being with grief when someone so close is seriously ill. Allowing them to not feel like the patient all the time and also having conversations about what feels scary with each other and with their children. For me, this allowing a supportive space to talk, cry and show vulnerability together is so important. Looking forward to listening some more. Warm wishes to you. ❤️🙏Read full review »

Thought provoking, insightful, often surprisingly fun and with so much wisdom. Heartfelt thanks to Julia, her guests and her daughters.

This podcast was perfect for me as a trainee art psychotherapist, Mum of 3 teenage girls and working through the grief for my lovely mum. I can’t wait for the next episodes. Some real “nuggets”. Gentle, loving and sharing the reality of human life.
