Top Notch Narration
Nina Innsted is one of the best in the business. Her approach is gracious and professional, which is what these gruesome stories deserve. In a world with talking heads screaming at us from all sides, it can be easy to forget that a storyteller isn't obligated to be in our faces and beat us over the head with their narration. Nina's approach of bringing the listener in close gives every appearance of a personal conversation and adds gravitas to the message. Love the UK version but find the USA one a bit, well, annoying. Background music is distracting and the episode titles are not as well thought out. Not sure if this was to appeal to an American market or just experimenting with the format. Either way, it’s a shame.
