Another incredible piece of investigative journalism by Allan Clarke. This time about the deeply tragic and unjustly handled death of young dancer, Daniel Yock, while in brief police custody in 1993. As always Clarke’s approach is intelligent, thorough, thoughtful and sensitive.

I can’t believe that this case, like so many others, has been swept under the rug. We should all be talking about this injustice and doing something about it. Well done to all involved. Even though it was heartbreaking to listen to this is so well made.

This podcast uses unconscionably biased reporting of statistics when covering Indigenous deaths in custody.
