Episode 35 - appreciate the honesty, but you’re missing a big point.
Here’s one of the main takeaways I have from this specific episode: lots of people don’t have a good understanding between the relationship of claims and the burden of proof. Also, this idea that “atheism” is some sort of belief or claim in of itself. Call it whatever you want, but the reason people cease to hold a particular belief is because they’re no longer convinced. Until Theists accept and deal with this reality I do not see how one can continue to engage with conversation over one's claims that support their reasons for being convinced of a claim.Read full review »
