“I’ve been listening to this podcast since around the time they started and, like most people, it took me a minute to adjust to someone other than Jeff since he’s the reason I subscribed. But now I really enjoy both of their insights and love when they have differing opinions. They’re very different from each other and I think it’s not only entertaining but informative as well, as we hear multiple takes on one topic. All that being said, I do agree about the ads. This isn’t a super long podcast but they do seem to have more ads than any other podcast I listen to. I understand that these companies encourage the people they sponsor to do a very natural, conversation-like ad read because that’s what sells more product, but I think there’s a line. I think they can still achieve a good ad read while taking a break to do them and letting the audience know we are about to get ads. This is a more transparent approach and I think it will come off as less sales-y and more honest.”
