So helpful
Thank you Ashlyn for your recent episode about the betrayed part of you. I recently started with a new therapist doing IFS with accelerated resolution therapy. I appreciate hearing how that kind of work has helped you! It’s all such a new concept to me and it really helped me understand it better. I have followed you for years, learning about you 5 years ago when I learned of my husband's infidelity. You were the first person I heard the phrase “ betrayal trauma” from. It felt so good to know there were words to describe how I was feeling. To be honest, when I first heard that you and your late husband, we’re getting divorced I was devastated. I felt like your story was giving me hope that my marriage would work out. I didn’t listen to your new podcast for a couple months. However, once I started listening to you again, it was so much better. So much hope for healing myself instead of focusing on healing my marriage. In turn I am getting better and stronger and don’t live in so much fear about my marriage possibly ending. You have helped me see that either way it goes, I will be ok. So thank you!Read full review »

Ashlynn is a woman who helps other women find their own power. This isn't a podcast about advising, it's a podcast about empowering. I find Ashlynn relatable in her vulnerability and struggles with control and her openness about how while she's built a beautiful life for herself now...Read full review »
