I listen regularly but find that Ed interrupts and talks over Emma too much. It’s frustrating to listen as it’s so apparent, it’s hard to believe he hasn’t been made aware of it.

I find the episodes with Edward Keenan harder to listen to. He’s constantly talking over his cohost Emma, and even the mayor! Jeeze let others speak!

Love the podcast but, oh my goodness Ed, let Emma get a word in. Save the monologues for your column.

This is crazy. We need more maple trees. That’s why we’re running out of maple syrup!!

Sounds like Ed is speaking through a potato connected to a forty foot length of twine running from my neighbour’s treehouse. Also the episode startup is way too slow, between ads, idle chatter, and administrivia. Listen to NPR Up First: four catchy notes and then boom, headlines. And...Read full review »

US made a claim that expands their Arctic sea territory in Dec 2023 that overlaps our. Why isn’t this covered by Canadian press?

The format of this podcast seems to have changed such that the two hosts spend way too much time talking about nothing e.g., whether or not they like watching professional sports or not and the anniversary of the community centre in Scarborough. I couldn't listen long enough to get to what...Read full review »

Just discovered this when I went looking for Edward Keenan’s column on Ford and the Greenbelt. Very much like this one with Keenan and Teital.

First episode I listened to was host Brian Bradley on the issue of Google & Facebook removing Canadian news from their platforms. Hoping to learn more about the issue, instead we get Bradley reciting directly from Google lobbyist manual. Only the most trivial explanation of what motivated the...Read full review »

I couldn’t agree more with them on the Science Centre and Ontario Place development! It ain’t what it was back in the 1970’s, such an iconic place with the kids water park.

The Toronto Star no longer produces journalism; merely propaganda for the Liberals

Doug Ford’s so-called stronger mayors it’s not about circumventing bureaucracy it’s about circumventing democracy. Putting more power into fewer hands is the opposite of democracy.

As a Torontonian, I enjoy hearing about all of the relevant issues on this podcast and I find the guests are very knowledgeable. But I don’t like the podcast music at all and it bothers me every time I listen. My vote is to change the intro music to make it sound more interesting and upbeat.

I loved you’re story of death in a small town. I really like how deep you go and how you try to talk to everybody that’s in these episodes. Great job 👍👍buck wild wolf

I really enjoy all of the hosts and find their reporting clear and informative. They ask the questions on all of our minds.

Hi I am an avid listener of your podcast and was so excited to hear that you made a podcast on cricket and how Toronto is loosing the ground to Brampton which is understandable. There were few technical errors sorry for pointing out 1. Cricket has 50 over and not 40 overs in a one day...Read full review »

They are displaying swastikas cause they are saying the liberals are acting like a fascist regime. Do you really want to be showing a QR code to enter buildings 5 or 10 years from now.

I really, really liked listening to Adrian. No offence to the others, but his podcasts were my favourites. I’m sorry he’s no longer with the podcast.

An occasionally interesting pod, but perhaps not obsessed with factual—or grammatical—accuracy.

Saba really makes this podcast the success it is, she’s one of the best interviewers; gets right to the point, asks the questions we want to know.

I am a big fan of The Daily (a New York Times podcast) and I was looking for a similar podcast for the Canadian context and this fits the bill perfectly! Super informative and they have great guests. Would highly recommend!

How come no one in Toronto is talking about shutting down Enbridge’s line 5? It would be horrible and nobody is discussing it except us Alberta’s because we know the consequences

Started listening to this podcast in the summer after “Wait There’s More” by Global News was cancelled. I appreciate it as a Canadian daily news show that focuses on more local issues compared to other shows that are so American-heavy. But I’m starting to struggle with half the episodes each week...Read full review »

I like the show, when it's on it can be really good. I will change this rating when you stop sticking episodes from like two weeks ago in my feed. What is that?? I don't want to unsubscribe but come on!Read full review »

I really enjoy the content of this podcast. My only complaint is very minor, but one of those things that once you hear it you can’t “un-hear” it - there’s overly aggressive cropping out of dead air in the content. I’m not sure why, but it definitely detracts from the overall experience for me....Read full review »

Good journalism, enjoyed the episode about the roaring twenties. I like that this podcast tackles issues that i can relate to everyday issues and they bring to light topics i don’t think of normally. Thank you!

I listen to this podcast almost every day and appreciate the range of topics covered. All three hosts are knowledgeable, friendly and draw out important content from their guests. And the podcast is the perfect length.

Awful interview style. The host is rushing through the questions as if they already know the answers that the interviewee is going to say. Interviewee ends up repeating themselves bc the host doesn’t understand that the answer.
