“I absolutely love this podcast, it is the one and only one I listen to regularly, scientific or otherwise. Both Vincent and Dick, along with any other guests, are very clear and easy to listen to, they make sure you get the most cutting edge news about virology- a task nearly impossible if you were to try and get the same information just from reading random journals (assuming you ARE a science person). I am a Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics Major at UCLA, and am taking "Introduction to Virology" with Dr. Asim Dasgupta, who mentioned his work with Vincent in the Baltimore lab when he was a graduate student (or post doc?). It was exciting to hear my professor mention Vincent in lecture, and I was like "Hey I know that guy!" Also, the most recent episode talks about a paper from Benhur Lee at UCLA and it is just so exciting to see how the research being done at my campus is really making an impact across the scientific community. This podcast keeps me excited and enthusiastic about entering the world of science and research!! (twitter-jkimmey)”Read full review »
