“I've been looking for something like this for ages...The usual format of interviewing one Guardian journalist and one columnist each day works brilliantly - the journalists have such a wealth of knowledge about their areas, and it can be imparted so differently via podcast form. I love the variety of topics and have learned a great deal from listening. Anushka has a great interview technique and is the perfect host: intelligent, inquisitive but also so personable that she makes the podcast accessible and enjoyable to listen to. Really enjoyed Friday’s Brexit edition- with a slightly different format to usual- it really brought the chaos to life on a dramatic day in Parliament. Can’t wait to see what topics they tackle next. “Great reporting from the Guardian in a warm friendly podcast format. The Guardian has played with podcasts before but never got away from the BBC radio style which lacks the intimacy and human detail required by podcasts. This one really names it with its warm, empathetic host.”
