“I’ve been listening for a long time now. There are some episodes I love and some I could really do without - the Mo Ryan saga was just not my cup of tea.
Tom does talk over Lorenzo some, but Lorenzo almost always forgets to tell you the name of the show, so it is needed.
Apparently Drag Race is just always on now. I don’t watch (and don’t have cable or I’d probably check it out from time to time) so I do wish they’d give a little more detail when they’re discussing it, but it’s fine. I don’t have to always be the target audience.
But what I can’t get over is the volume! No matter what podcast I’m listening to before, I always have to crank my volume ALL the way to hear T+Lo. I don’t get it! And the funny little quick, under their breath, asides? Forget it. Completely lost to someone with better hearing and/or a quieter car. I wish they’d drop the “radio voice” and just talk at a normal speed and volume ... and maybe crank up the recording volume too.”
