President-elect Donald Trump has announced he will nominate Fox News host Pete Hegseth to serve as secretary of defense. Hegseth is a veteran of the Army National Guard who served tours of duty in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Guantanamo Bay, and was awarded two Bronze Stars and a Combat Infantryman Badge.
