Important journalism
Understandably rehearing the details of this case is distressing and heartbreaking, however so far this investigative podcast has revealed compelling details that question the testimony of two key witnesses and the expert advice provided at the time. I don’t believe critics of this podcast are actually hearing these details or are willing to face the possibility that key details were missed at the time. We need to be open to discussing cases such as these freely and respectfully. Thank you to the Age for generating this discussion, despite many labelling this journalism as biased.
