“Jeff is a fabulous story-teller and a top-notch history/mythology nerd. The Trojan War epic has been, for most of human history, transmitted from generation to generation orally. I could not be more delighted that I just got to participate in that tradition. I just finished the series, and I will be moving on to his telling of The Odyssey in short order. Do yourself a favor and try an episode or two of this podcast. You'll come away with vivid visions of Bronze Age life and insightful reflects on human nature that are (sometimes disturbingly) relevant for our own times. Jeff, thank you very much for your work.
