Such a Fun Time!
Ever since I've watched the episodes of the Netflix original series "Unsolved Mysteries", I've been scouring the Internet for a deeper dive into the unsaid facts from the true cases from the show. I was so happy to hear that one of my favourite actresses from one of my favourite tv shows (Lauren Ash - Superstore) was making a podcast with her "sister" Christy and talking about said unsolved cases and dissecting them. What more could a girl, such as myself, enraptured by the curiosity of true crime cases, ask for? This podcast has it all. The laughter, a fun time and most certainly the deep dive into what Netflix attempted to do (but, in some aspects, failed). After listening to the first 3 episodes I can honestly say I wish they could be longer; I enjoyed their conversations and their hilariously, t-shirt worthy, iconic quotes they've only accumulated in those first 3 podcasts. Definitely worth the listen and, from what I've heard from the podcast, watch. They have released videos that go with the podcast on their website (truecrimeandcocktails.com) but I have yet to check out (I'm sure its just as an amusing watch as it is listening to them - particularly excited to see Christy's graphs/pie charts!). 5/5 stars is all I can really say. Cannot wait for more!Read full review »

More reviews of True Crime & Cocktails
Sometimes I just want to talk details about mysteries and true crimes, but unfortunately none of my friends share this interest. This podcast is the perfect fix for that. It is entertaining and the hosts, Christy and Lauren, research and share additional details. I’m hooked!

I love the premise of this podcast! It is a true crime podcast with a little bit of humor and cocktails. Also, Christy has visuals to look at to better understand the episode. Lauren and Christy are awesome together and this is a definitely a deep dive crime podcast.

I watch the episode that they are talking about before I listen. It is like I’m talking to friends about the episode and getting more information after the fact. I wish I could learn how she does all the research, you two make me feel normal (I really love true crime shows). Keep it up!! 😊😁😍
