This is a good podcast, although it is mostly cases that has already been covered by Gérard or others. Racial segregation is always mentioned, which wants to make me scream. Because it is NOT always about colour. Serial killers are (worldwide) mostly white males. Please stop telling us about the...Read full review »

This podcast is well researched, the crimes are all new to me, and the host has a soothing voice. She hits the right tone, and it feels almost like a smart friend telling you about these heinous crimes. I highly recommend it. It’s a new favorite.

So after my hubby passed away in 2016 I had to find a job. And I did. And I love it. But my salary needs to be fed by additional work. So I do catering after hours. With my adhd I can’t work in silence, I’ll go mad. I learned about Podcasts last year around July 2022. And came across Nicole...Read full review »

Nicole is brilliant. She is eloquent, her work is well researched and informative. You would swear she has worked as a police officer or the prosecutor.

This woman is going places. The only podcast I make time to listen to.

Nicole is amazing, her voice is so soothing. She gives such a clear view of the most heinous crimes you could ever imagine but does it in such an amazing way and never forgets the victims. Her podcasts are well put together with a lot of research behind it. By far my favorite podcast.

I have so enjoyed this podcast. Especially the four part series on the Van Breda murders. Yes it is super sad and awful to hear how people can just be thrown away but at the same time it’s amazing that these stories are out there and hopefully it will stop someone from doing more damage. Thank...Read full review »

Really well researched and very easy to listen to, but I dislike the narrator giving her own opinions. Even going as far as to make her own inferences about how a crime went down. Her comments on how people ‘should behave’ after massive trauma. We have no idea what behaviour is ‘normal’ for an...Read full review »

I listed to one episode which I stumbled on by luck. I have been going down a rabbit hole ever since. I have listened to each and every episode attentively which is not hard cause the narration is excellent.

I often battle to stay focused when listening to podcasts but Nicole’s narration is outstanding. The research and compassion is to another level. I’m addicted to this show!

Extremely well researched content and the host has exceptional insight. Highly recommended. I just want to mention though, as a fellow South African, I find the accent interesting. Not an accent we normally hear around here. Still very well done. Thank you

Totally agree with you, this case is “solved” but that should not stop you from reporting on the actual events, especially in this case the victim. As we say in Afrikaans “windgat laaities” Great podcast, keep it up!

Excellent Nicole! Well done on your excellency in your research and telling this most gruesome spine chilling murder in such an empathetic way. Nothing to enjoy about it but was well worth listening to. Thank you! Pippasqueakie

The host’s voice and accent are easy to listen to - beautiful in fact - despite the horrific crimes she relates in this podcast. Very interesting cases. Peppered with the host’s concern for the victims and disdain for the perpetrators, a very well done true crime podcast. I will be $$ supporting it.
