“I really like all of James Richardson's work and him talking about his views on movies for an hour is something I would listen to. The problem for me is when you involve a group of critics who seem to hate films. They're so negative and down on everything It's like talking to someone about why they hate their job and listening to every specific aspect about what annoys them.
I've given it a chance but after the Bladerunner 2049 episode I'm out. I'm tempted to go back to the Kermode and Mayo private joke bumfest hour as at least I can get the odd bit of wonderment from Kermode now and again, or a rant... I just want some passion from my critics whereas the resident critics and even the guest critics are all so very glib and down on life it seems! Make your own mind up but I'm really disappointed by this.”Read full review »

“Love the film club aspect, really enlightened me on some quality films- a matter of life and death is superb.
James Richardson is the best around when it comes to hosting , shows the same charisma as he does football weekly. The other geezas are good too.
Apologies can't remember their names .”Read full review »

“As yet unhindered by the cloying self-referential in-jokes of ‘Kermode & Mayo’ (please don’t go there, T&M), it’s entertaining, informative and knowledgeable.
A weekly must-listen.”
