“I’ve followed Kirsty online for over 10 years when a friend I met in Vienna recommended her to me. I’ve only relatively recently actually started listening to the podcast, although I’ve been part of the FB group since relatively early on. I’m now gradually making my way through the back catalogue. To start with I struggled to work out who was speaking but I can now tell Kirsty and Nikki apart. The topics don’t always relate to me but they are always interesting and the current chat at the beginning and end are always good. I’ve been listening during my longer distance runs in my 10k training program and it definitely makes the time go by faster. I was just listening to the podcast from 10th October where they were talking about how someone said that the Sydney Opera House was smaller than expected and it triggered a memory of a visit to the UK. We are a British family living in Zurich and our 15 year old has lived abroad since just after her 4th birthday. We had visited her half-sister and nephew near Bath and were driving cross country in our way to Heathrow and we drove passed Stonehenge. We said to her “Look to the left. What can you see?” Her reply was “Is that a model of Stonehenge? Isn’t the real one in Scotland? This one looks really small!” Obviously we need to do some more work on her UK geography and stop her watching so much Outlander!
Keep up the good work, ladies!”
