Each Two for Tea episode has the best features of an interview, a conversation and a review. Iona is genuinely curious about guests whose ideas she doesn’t necessarily agree with as long as they’re sincere and interesting.

I’ve been a subscriber for several months. This is the best value-for-money media purchase I’ve made – the price is very cheap and the content is very good. Iona is an intelligent and forthright but likeable conversationist.

Ok, that’s hyperbolic. Let me make my case. I regularly consume mid-stream intellectual podcasts: Joe Rogan, Sam Harris, Sean Carrol (Mindscape), Lex Fridman, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Intelligence Squared, ABC RN (All in the mind). They’re all excellent and the same guest often appears on several of...Read full review »

I cannot stop listening to Iona. Her interviews are always interesting. This is a truly remarkable podcast that accomplishes what it promises: to hold open minded discussions in a time of increasing partisanship and nonsense orthodoxy.

I’ve listened to every episode of Iona’s (and sometime Helen’s) podcast since the first. Many episodes, I’ve listened to multiple times. Iona’s gentle (sometimes not so gentle) way of engaging with her guests is beautiful to listen to and I’ve gained much pleasure in listening to her talk with...Read full review »

How wonderful to listen to warm thoughtful conversation that doesn’t shy away from difficult questions, but approaches them with curiosity and interest. My new favourite podcast.

Maybe what you need is the soothing voice of a Parsis tango dancer and English professor turned podcast and letter writing peacemaker? Maybe you're thinking to yourself, "I don't need that." But if that's the case, you'd be wrong.Read full review »

Iona and Helen are both extremely intelligent, very thoughtful and discerning, and tremendously articulate. These two are major intellectual talents. Don’t miss out on these valuable interviews and conversations.

Iona is a great interviewer and the podcasts are so thoughtful and in depth. I always learn interesting things and the guests are a diversity from the usual podcast academic superstars. What I love as well is that Iona is very open minded and doesn’t (excessively) push her agenda/opinions and it...Read full review »

Just found this podcast after finding that Helen was nominated for a contrarian award, that sounded interesting! I’ve listened to a few episodes and I’m really glad I did. Iona and Helen are great and it’s a novelty to hear two women sitting and talking about ideas. I’m subscribing now.

A conversation-oriented show with an Intellectual Dark Web flavor on the topics. The hosts do a very good job of speaking honestly, with self-reflection and, where disagreements crop up, listening and staying civil.

I really appreciate the nuance and clarity of purpose here. Plenty of food for thought! Have I disagreed with these two ladies on several points? Sure! But I’ve also reformed or refined some of my ideas based on the sound reasoning up for offer. And they’re only two episodes in as I compose this...Read full review »

I have been following Ms. Italia and Ms. Pluckrose for sometime on Twitter and when I heard they had a podcast out, I became very curious. This introductory episode represents a ‘statement of purpose’ in which they describe their respective philosophies, and their approach to issues in upcoming...Read full review »
