“Uk Low Carb is a great podcast for those of us who like real and encouraging conversations about improving health. It features info about the how and why of low carb/keto/fasting, mostly via interviews with everyday people sharing their experiences, as well as experts. Its secret sauce (low carb) is host Dan Greef. He’s articulate and has a great sense of humour. He doesn’t take himself too seriously, but his purpose and commitment to guests and audience are clear and genuine. Dan is respectfully attentive to all guests and appreciative of their journeys. He’s well prepared but not bound by a script. He listens and is able to go with a conversation. Dan’s teaching skills are evident in his curiosity and openness to learning. He doesn’t need to show how much he knows, though he can do so succinctly when required. I like his cheerful, collaborative approach, and his, and guests’, willingness to share challenges and set backs, as well as successes.
This podcast particularly helped motivate and sustain me during our extended lockdowns in Melbourne over the past two years. I’m grateful! Keep up the good work. I particularly liked the Pillars of Health series from Pauline Cox.”
