I have listened to Ukrainecast for almost a full year now and it’s an invaluable source of news for me to understand Russia’s full scale invasion of Ukraine. The hosts and their guests provide excellent commentary and analysis and I really like how the hosts are so engaging and interactive with...Read full review »

Not worth listening to. Their selection of experts and reporters seem to be RT-trained. Lots of nuclear scare talks, too.

This has to be, the most important podcast, yet. Have listened to every episode since the Russian invasion of Ukraine and it stops me in my tracks or reduces me to tears, almost every time. The information and quality of journalism is outstanding and always balanced and shows as far as is...Read full review »

I generally like this broadcast very much, but today’s guest sounded just like Neville Chamberlain! Mearsheimer is absolutely wrong it is assumptions, his assertions in his attitude! He wants to throw Ukraine to the dogs!
Lord Newcomb via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/13/23
What were you thinking giving John Mearsheimer airtime? Russian trolls quote him with the likes of John Ritter, Judge Nap & Doug Macgregor… Are they your next guests? You should be embarrassed! Do better…

Regarding the Professor from Chicago…The bias is overwhelming! His presentation of perspective regarding NATO is skewed by his political bias. NATO is freedom and democracy through elections and deplomacy. We had every right to support and unite with Ukrainians! I also refute his prediction...Read full review »

His perspective? REplay “it” until everyone listening is as conversant with it as Victoria and Vitaliy.

I would really like to suggest you restore the Boris Johnson’s sound bite “He can never clean/wash the blood from his hands”. I may not have the quote exactly right but I am sure you know the one I am referring to. I just think it is so powerful!

Excellent reportage/guests, too bbc-ish as narrow and slightly patronising, ie it assumes no in-depth knowledge by its listeners. I prefer the Daily Telegraph’s Ukraine the latest podcast as it expects its listeners to be more fully informed/literate and au fait with the immediate situation. Wish...Read full review »

I have been listening to this podcast since the second day of the war, which sadly is nearly coming to a year now. The reporting is first rate, and they do attempt to tell things from the Russian perspective as hard as it is these days to report there. The hosts are professional and the guests...Read full review »

As someone deeply impacted by the injustice and suffering wrought on an innocent country, Ukrainian-cast is priceless. Honest, open, clear and no sugar coating. It reliability stands at odds with lies and atrocities of Putin and the mafia state he has built. Dr John

Have listened to every single episode since day one. A clear and measured way to keep up to date on this terrible situation - this is a prime example of the BBC at its best. Well done to Victoria, Vitaly and everyone involved 👍🏻

It’s amazing how easy it is still to push pro- Russian narratives in a free world. Ukraine cast should be renamed into Vatnikсast. Let’s take the latest podcast, e.g. Voices of pro-Russian Ukrainians. Are you kidding? It would be reasonable to listen to Ukrainians in Ukraine cart, right? Hell...Read full review »

Words cannot describe the good work that this team of journalists, technical specialists and producers are doing. In a time of great horror they tactfully discuss the very worst of the situation in Ukraine and find light where it shines. A true credit to broadcasting
