“I am fascinated by the more traditional elements of Japanese culture rather than the modern focus on anime/manga, but could never find a podcast that covered it in any detail. These episodes are perfect little nuggets of information on all that is interesting and weird in Japanese language and folklore. Thersa’s style is gentle and conversational which matches well with the feel of the show. I encourage anyone to listen if they are looking for a podcast that covers stuff that you might not find anywhere else.”
