Just what I was looking for
I am fascinated by the more traditional elements of Japanese culture rather than the modern focus on anime/manga, but could never find a podcast that covered it in any detail. These episodes are perfect little nuggets of information on all that is interesting and weird in Japanese language and folklore. Thersa’s style is gentle and conversational which matches well with the feel of the show. I encourage anyone to listen if they are looking for a podcast that covers stuff that you might not find anywhere else.

Thank you Thersa for your stories. This podcast is so peaceful and entertaining and I love telling people about it whenever I get the opportunity. I can’t wait to read her books that are currently on the way in the mail.
