Just what I was looking for
I am fascinated by the more traditional elements of Japanese culture rather than the modern focus on anime/manga, but could never find a podcast that covered it in any detail. These episodes are perfect little nuggets of information on all that is interesting and weird in Japanese language and folklore. I encourage anyone to listen if they are looking for a podcast that covers stuff that you might not find anywhere else.

Beautifully told stories of Japanese folklore, tall tales and language quirks. Lovely to let these tales wash over you, with Thersa Matsuura providing both soothing and scary narration to each story. Love it and highly recommend to those who love either Japan, folklore or both of course.
