Awesome reporting. I was left with a better understanding of this case, along with people with Autism. The social media influence - very disturbing for me

“The Village” is an a really great piece of work. The deep dive into LGBTQ history is very well done, and so needed.

I wish there was a way to rate the different seasons separately. They are VASTLY uneven in quality. So this review is for the current season about Martensville. It's terrible. From the ridiculous - the local reporter pretending someone who worked for a Saskatoon newspaper wouldn't know...Read full review »

So I start listening to Season 23 and… there’s ads? We pay subscribe and still get ads?

Gives a very deep and detailed look at this complex case. Unbiased reporting of the facts. Highly recommended you give this a listen.

They feed you a few free episodes and engage you then force you to pay for the rest. Unsubscribed

This subtle, well paced, intelligent and compassionate telling of a wrongful conviction, rises to the top of the true crime genre podcasts out there. I can so easily become disengaged from the narration of a sensationalised story telling style. Or when the players in the story are not represented...Read full review »

The stories you keep telling me, never stop to amaze me!! They’re deep and made with tremendous respect for people and their choices, and with an overwhelming love for the medium. I can’t stop listening. Also interesting and very important: people from First Nations get a voice in your...Read full review »

Hard story told in a very balanced and sensitive way . Well worth listening to

Every season of Uncover is fresh, relevant and an in depth dive into the issues that matter most. I appreciate the fair, balanced and thoughtful approach to each. It’s not one host grinding out details, it’s a compelling and personal immersive experience. Don’t miss Season 16 with Duncan McCue on...Read full review »

The Pressure Cooker is one of the greatest pieces of comedy ever created, a masterpiece. You can’t even believe it. The episodes are very well done and everyone is somehow very serious during the all story. I laughed pretty hard. Canadian police force is an unbelievable piece of work. Thank you...Read full review »

What the heck? I get to the last episode of Season 21 and I have to subscribe to listen to it? That’s not the case in the other 20 seasons. I’ve listened to most of them and really enjoy this podcast, which is why I’m disappointed that you are pulling a move like this. Otherwise I would have...Read full review »

I binge listened to this wonderful production. Your detailed review of the facts and outstanding story telling capability kept me tuned in throughout. I hope that your investigative reporting and the police investigation will resolve this case. Keep up your great work.

Incredible story encompassed by great reporting. The people of this area need to run the Catholics out and never allow them to return. What wretched group of religious zealots who preyed upon the children of the community. Make them pay!
eltoddro via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/02/23
If you want to run a paid subscription service that’s fine. But at least be upfront about it and not allow 5 episodes free then if you want to listen to the next you have to pay. Or at least mention on the first episode that after the 5th you will have to pay. Really disappointed.

I found it difficult to listen to the narrator due to the rhythm of her speech. It seemed like her voice was slowed down then sped up then slowed down again. Sometimes the pauses were in awkward areas and just sounded off. I’m also not really sure what the real point of this story is because it...Read full review »

Love this podcast. However, I had to stop listening to Sharmini. I cannot stand listening to someone who is obviously lying. No doubt, Tippit is guilty, and I feel frustrated that he gets a platform to continue his con game. I know this is part of your job, and I respect that. I just don’t have...Read full review »

I have listened to most seasons of Uncover but was especially affected by season 16: Kupert Island. As a non-Indigenous Canadian this season left a very strong impact on me and helped illustrate the lasting effects of the residential schools on a whole culture and population. Every season I’ve heard of this podcast has tremendous research behind it, and cogent, engaging storytelling. First-rate!

Great reporting! Very thorough and well researched. The presentation is clear and engaging! It’s amazing that after so many seasons, they’re still consistently great (except season 19, that was pretty mid)

So we’ll done. Every Canadian, especially all non-Indigenous Canadian, should listen to this Podcast. It is not an easy listen but so so important.

Just listened to season 18 Pressure Cooker. Wow! I have never been more riveted to a podcast. It made me laugh, brought me near to tears and had me outraged. A real eye opener.

Oh hi, you seem to have devoted the series to suicide shaming but you’ve named it “The Kill List”, presumably to satisfy your prejudices. Also, the show seems to be called Uncover but your conclusion appears to be reading out a police report and saying “so there you have it”. Fairly sure that’s...Read full review »

Thank you for sharing this difficult investigation. Regarding Ep 6 - If the judge ruled that the priests were responsible for Doughty’s confinement, wouldn’t the priests have to go before a judge to remove that condition before allowing Doughty to leave their facility?

I had absolutely no idea about the suffering of indigenous people in Canada, being uk based. It’s horrifying. Thank you for such a informative podcast I wish so much healing for everyone who suffered such trauma and justice coming to the absolute disgraces that perpetrated these crimes.

Three stars - because the podcast is well done & the earlier seasons are pretty good - the stories are very interesting. It’s woke as heck though, tons of woke points and references all throughout… if later seasons are worse, I won’t be listening.

I’ve just finished episode 2. What a well produced, well written, thoughtful, story so far.
