“I hate leaving negative reviews, but this guy is insufferable. I listened to him talk to the missing boy's mother and I wanted to save her from him. He listened as though he wasn't listening or didn't care. It's like he's just using her for the details, not having a conversation with her. He cut her off, interrupted her, said "mm hmm" and "uh huh" condescendingly and at inappropriate times, etc. The worst part was when he asked her a question about her son, and then replied, "ok, great. (Pause) Great, now..." as though he was ticking boxes on a form while in the boss from Office Space cosplay. His social skills, or lack thereof, are cringy. The cases are interesting, and the interviewees are compelling, but not enough to make up for the host. If you're looking for true crime, try True Crime Garage or Generation Why.”Read full review »
