How Refreshing
Finally, a podcast company that has taken podcasting to a whole new level! I was rapidly becoming disenchanted with the majority of average productions and monotone voices out there, especially in this genre. However, listening to "The Axeman" series was like an eargasm for your audio senses! It's a motion picture for your ears. The host Carter Roy is thoroughly engaging and the Axeman himself sounded like one sadistic f*ck...I loved it! This podcast is very different from most of the "true crime" podcasts out there: it's much more lighthearted and less "scary" or creepy. I don't mind the reenactments, and the stories so far are very entertaining. The only problem is that some of the background music...Read full review »

Listening to the story of the New Orleans "Axeman" was not only incredibly disturbing due to the fact of his case being open to this day, but extremely captivating to hear the tales of those events. I sense a ton of potential with these podcasts, and cannot wait to listen to more!Read full review »

I thoroughly enjoyed the sound effects!! Great sound quality! This is a great change of pace from the normal NPR style podcast! The hosts are great!
